Affordable housing doesn't have to start with destroying the existing greenbelt. It doesn't have to start with benefiting wealthy housing development companies. It doesn't have to start with the consequences of hurting average people with more tax burden in the near future.
Current need is to decrease the investment cycle in the housing market with law, taxes and restrictions to make existing housing affordable for owning/renting.
Surveys needs to be taken in major areas to get people interest and proceed accordingly to build on the lands that are non conservation.
Building more housing within the existing Towns and cities increases the traffic and pollution where these cities showing no improvements in developing new highways or dropping toll ways for affordable transportation.
