Bill 23 is moving forward despite the outcry of public opinion and expert input on the damaging and irreversible effects on individuals, communities and the environment. This bill must pause until further consultation can take place. As it stands, the current position most certainly does not speak "for the people" and is an egregious attempt to undermine democratic and inclusive decision-making. Ontarians will be facing the effects of this bill for years to come. This should not be taken lightly.
