In 2018 to not acknowledge that Climate Change is real, is a grave disservice to the people of Ontario. Man made Carbon pollution, is causing alarming changes to our global weather patterns. The Carbon Tax adds a fee directly to the polluter who is responsible for harming our atmosphere, and it is an incentive to cut back on emissions. The funds raised through the carbon tax are used to create green initiatives, such as bike paths, and mass transit, thus doubling down on the benefits to the environment. Cancelling the carbon tax is pure politics, misguided, and harmful.
