Please consider seventh generation thinking, starting 2050 when we will face a shrinking world population and historic greenbelt expansion will look thoughtless. Obviously, we need more housing but existing brown acreage, previous industrial sites, and intensification along major public transit routes, remedied and redeveloped will be less expensive, in the long run. We need environmental services, clean water, flood planes, and wetlands as much as we need housing.
