Speeding kills. Approving development proposals at a faster rate will also have long-lasting negative impacts for Ontario. We rely on the Greenbelt for food, clean water and air, recreation, culture, and more. Reducing environmental protections will not solve the housing crisis; likely, it will make it worse.
