Doug Ford's proposal to rezone the greenbelt would be a detriment to Ontarians as it would lead to increased urban sprawl and the destruction of important ecological habitats. This would harm the quality of life for Ontarians by reducing access to green space and natural resources, damaging air quality due to increased traffic, and increasing the cost of living in nearby urban areas. Furthermore, it would reduce Ontario's ability to adapt to climate change by reducing the amount of green infrastructure that helps to mitigate its effects. Overall, rezoning the greenbelt would be a destructive and short-sighted decision for the people of Ontario.
