As life long resident of the Greater Toronto area and avid hobby farmer, I see that this plan will permanently damage our environment. Land near creeks and streams is part of our watershed and we should be increasing our protection and naturalization of this land not eroding it further. Our housing crisis is simply a result of high prices and too many monster homes, if we improve public transit into the city and build outside the greenbelt, including replacing older homes with a diversity of townhomes and small environmentally conscious apartements, we don't need to use up more valuable irreplaceable topsoil. As Canadians we should put our creativity to good use and find housing solutions that don't include damaging our ability to farm and have a healthy environment. Thank you for listenting.
