I am opposed to developing the greenbelt. Climate change threatens all of us, and one way to protect ourselves is to preserve greenlands. We need to focus on building up, not out, for new housing. We also need to focus on repurposing brownlands. The greenbelt lands should never be sold for development, but preserved for future generations. Our premier promised to leave them alone, and now he is reneging on that promise. I am deeply disappointed by this behavior and disturbed that such a proposal has even been made in these challenging times. Let's work on solutions that benefit every one, and not just the rich and greedy minority. Such behavior is not only not sustainable, but poses a threat to our great civilization.
