I am opposed to Bill 23…

I am opposed to Bill 23. Doug Ford said he wasn't going to touch the Greenbelt. The current government cannot continue to lie to Ontarians. This Bill is opposed by many municipalities, conservation authorities, First Nations Chiefs, nature groups and more. Bill 23 will increase food insecurity and cost municipal tax payers more money. Wetlands cannot be restored as they are complex and biodiverse ecosystems. This will only increase urban sprawl and is certainly not meant to build affordable houses. People who need affordable housing can't afford to live and drive far from urban centers. This plan is completely unsustainable in a time when we are in a climate crisis.
Please don't destroy our beautiful province and stop lying to the people of Ontario.
