I feel the government should have waited for the commenting periods to finish before passing Bill 23.
Many municipalities have already responded stating how much revenue will be lost with the proposed changes to development charges. The current residents should not have to have their taxes increased because of this or their services affected. Developers should pay for the growth. Developers certainly won't pass on any savings.
Municipalities have already struggled with Covid and all the changes to date. There are too many drastic changes with this bill.
