Also of particular importance is the part of Schedule 3 that deals with parkland dedication. It would cut the amount of parkland that must be set aside by developers by 50%. Parks are one of the most important kinds of greenspace for urban residents and they are already in short supply. So this perk to builders must be scrapped. Please keep the parkland dedication rate at 1 hectare per 300 dwelling units. Currently, a price is not placed placed on the benefits that nature provides. this needs to change.
