This is definitely a cruel and inhumane way to treat our wild animals. To capture them in a trap line is the first inhumane step. It must be a frightening, stressful and painful way to be captured. If these poor creatures are not killed outright by the "dogs in training", which would be horrendous, then it's almost as bad to subject them to pursuit by the dogs over and over and over again. Talk about terrifying! I had no idea this form of "dog training" was already happening and the thought of expanding it breaks my heart. Wildlife is one of the reasons people love Muskoka - please don't make them suffer just to train dogs to hunt and kill.
