I am against the use of wildlife as bait to train dogs. This proposed practice is horrific and cruel. Coyotes, foxes and rabbits and other wildlife are sentient and feel pain as human do. In my medical practice I have assisted patients in pain and I have also provided care for animals in distress and there is no difference. The inhumane and abhorrent proposal of using captive wild animals as bait for hunting dogs should never have even been considered.
