This practice isn't humane, it's animal cruelty and these facilities should not be allowed. Ontario citizens cannot torture wild rabbits/coyotes on their property without animal cruelty charges, so why should there be facilities to allow this?
"You may not harass, capture or kill more wildlife than is necessary to protect your property, or cause unnecessary suffering to the animals. " from the Ministry of Natural Resources.
How is this not against the spirit of the above law when these facilities would cause unnecessary suffering? Absolutely horrible idea.
