Climate Change is the most important and time sensitive environmental issue of our time. Top economists, including Nobel prize winning scientists, clearly state carbon taxes are the best way to lower outputs. These are the people we must listen to. As an Ontarian, I do not care to have a few more dollars in my pocket if it means not fighting climate change. Polluters must pay! I do not support this plan to cancel cap and trade in Ontario and am disgusted in the government's proposal to do so. It is not based on any evidence and is clearly ignorant and short-sighted. The government is not remotely working for the people. It is working for polluting corporations and the wealthy 1%.
