It is utterly unacceptable…

It is utterly unacceptable for the government to repeal the "Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act, 2016". As a scientist and academic researching the impacts of climate change on marine and aquatic species, I find it extremely disconcerting that the Ontario government would repeal an Act and a program which are intended to help prevent a climate crisis. In a time when we are facing potential catastrophic impacts from climate change, we need to do all that we can to come together as a society in order to make positive change. As a Torontonian born and raised, I am disappointed in the Ford government and completely disagree with the decision to repeal this Act.
