I am opposed to the amendment to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act and regulations that would allow new licences for dog train and trial areas in penned dog hunting facilities.
Hunting pens have no place in our modern society. Allowing dogs to train and trial in penned facilities using penned foxes, coyotes, and rabbits is not humane and not ethical. These foxes, coyotes, rabbits, and other animals must be protected from use in such penned dog hunting facilities.
