The use of captive animals to train hunting dogs is cruel to the extreme for the animals being hunted. I realize that in the wild these same animals would also feel fear when they are hunted as prey; but this is a normal course of events. As humans it behoves us to show some empathy for these creatures and treat them with respect, not use them as some sort of bait.
