Keeping animals captive in limited space and exposing them to a hunting dog limits the capacity of the wildlife to cope. These wildlife will be in constant state of stress. Simply housing them yet exposing them to this exercise is a very low bar for welfare. This proposal should be transparent as to where the wildlife will come from and where the wildlife will go once they start developing abnormal behaviours. This looks like it could helpful to improve hunting accuracy but the ends does not justify the means.
