As a society we collectively need to recognize our responsibility to animals. They need us. Our job is to protect and care for them. Not harm or torture them. This archaic practice was outlawed for a reason. We are supposed to be evolving. Why are we revisiting and considering reintroducing this sickening violent method. There is no “sport” in a pitted and unfair bloodbath where one animal is purposely set up for failure. This is torture. This is cruelty. This is wrong. Please do the right thing and create environments of protection and safety for animals instead of environments of extreme fear and death.
