I think it is totally disingenuous of you to suggest that this is in any way going to benefit the majority of Ontarians. Climate change is real and harming our environment in way that cannot be reversed. The fact you don't believe this or you think that keeping outdated industry alive is a better choice for us (and the world) than developing new, renewable, sustainable approaches horrifies me. The evidence is available and you are refusing to heed it and that does nothing to ensure the safety of your constituency. Just look at this week's Noble prize award.
In particular two consequences of this Act alarm me:
1. Cancelling the Green home programming means higher costs for homeowners, loss of jobs for contractors, and lost business for manufacturers.
2. How is having children at schools in disrepair showing any kind of concern for "the little guy"?
Please do not do this. You had no mandate for these kinds of sweeping changes and complete disregard for science.
