Canadians want its government to respect and take the Paris Climate Agreement seriously.
People in Ontario want opportunities for green industry incentives reinstated.
Premier Ford's anti-green agenda is damaging to Canada's progress. His actions have already regressed too much incentive from an emerging industry, and it's truly unfair to the other provinces who will be improving our global reputation without Ontario's support. Ontario will fall behind the country's progress by not supporting the green energy industry.
Canadians want a stronger renewable energy industry, so they can work towards reducing their carbon footprint. Likewise, over-polluting corporations should not be allowed to undo the reduction progress of millions of individual citizens (enforce caps on polluting & financial consequences for those that over-pollute).
As our leaders, wouldn't it be prudent to strengthen more industry options now, rather than avoid making any changes and hoping the climate won't either?
