In light of climate change, we should not repeal the Green Energy Act. The current government must first present a clearly stronger proposal as a replacement for the Act with intentions of climate change mitigation. The government should develop a set of policies by consulting with a broad set of Ontarians including scientists and considering the Canadian Paris comittment. After reaching a broad consensus that a new proposal is better than the current Act, then we can replace it.
