The proposed bait restrictions are insane. Most of the bodies of water where I fish are connected anyways. I don't see any problem with the way the regulations are now. How can a group of people who sit in an office in Peterborough make decisions about anything to do with angling and hunting. I have never seen an mnr vehicle on the road other than a game warden in my life. Who is out in the field researching anything? So now instead of trapping my own minnows in a beaver pond I will have to pay 10 dollars a dozen for minnows that come from another beaver pond? Hopefully the mnr will listen to people who actually spend time outdoors for once, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.
