I am concerned about the repeal of the Cap and Trade and the effect it will have on our economy. This has been a growth area in our Northern community and now small start up businesses are working in an unpredictable world. Contracts that would have provided jobs are being terminated and this will have a ripple effect in all areas of our economy. Investors we any type are now less likely to consider coming to Ontario as any contract might easily be reversed.
The infrastructure funding that was flowing to our hospitals and other organizations would have provided them with energy savings and allowed for improved service delivery to clients is being eliminated. Please find a way to keep these cost saving initiatives and economic stimulus going.
