Explain how this dormant landfill that hasn’t been operational in more than 30 years is not registered on the landfill registry. There is no indication that this landfill is even operational at this time, so how can york1 reopen it when it has no registration. How is this environmental safe? How is this up to code? When this landfill was operated decades ago, Dresden wasn't amalgamated with Chatham-Kent. The residence of Dresden should have the power to stop this, since it originally owned and operated by the town of Dresden. This will also have severe consequences on the environment, the Sydenham river has endangered species that will be put at more risk if this landfill is approved. We should be protecting our fragile ecosystem in the Sydenham river not contaminate further!
