Up to 700 trucks per day????
How is this environmentally "friendly"?????? Not to mention the infrastructure in Chatham Kent, or more specifically, Dreeden. Was never intended to support this kind of traffic.
Consider the farming community around Dresden, especially during tomato harvest. The roads are filled with tomato trucks travelling to and from the processing facility. Additional vehicles on the roads at that time of year is an accident waiting to happen.
"No hazardous waste"??‽????? But asbestos is ok? Do you actually realize what gets put into construction waste bins???? I sincerely doubt it!
This is right on the edge of Dresden. Its a small quiet town. We do not want the noise of trucks and processing 24 hours a day. Have you heard of noise polution?
My family has lived directly on the syndenham river for over 35 years. It is a very delicate environment. We have watched the return of Bald Eagles, Herons, great horned owls, wild turkeys, etc. This will certainly threaten a delicate natural balance in the area.
Please dont allow this to happen.
Thank you for this opportunity to voice my concerns.
