Personally I don't think anyone would have a problem with this if it wasn't for York 1 wanting to greatly increase the scale of the operation and they want to run 24hrs a day 7 days a week. The original site is 25 acres. Then York one purchased the surrounding land at above market value so that noone else would try to buy it. Dresden is a small town that has just started to distinguish itself as a Christmas town and started the night market trend that other towns have taken part in. It's something you can be proud of. Now a large company wants to put a transfer station near a quiet town. Nowhere does that sound appealing to people who might want to come to Dresden. People want to come here for the peace and quiet not a recycling center that runs 24 -7. Thanks for letting me comment
