I live directly across from this proposed site. Although you say this is a recycling facility, it is clear your ultimate proposal is to create a massive landfill. That will literally be metres from my front door. How can you come in as a company with such a façade claiming this will somehow benefit our community? We are an agricultural area. Where do you think your food comes from? You want to come in and dump other peoples trash, literally on our front door, less than a kilometre away from one of our public schools. You want to pollute our water way, the Sydenham River, which runs through to Wallaceburg, and eventually makes its way to Lake Erie. Your plan is to use this waterway for all of the runoff that will come from the landfill. I am pleading with any government that can put a direct stop to this proposal. We do not want this. It will turn our community into a ghost town.
