My concern about this expanded landfill are the not described environmental impacts generated by dust that will be produced when concrete is ground down. Dust will be widespread and with surrounding areas primarily farm country - how will York1 ensure these crops will not be affected from air pollution. The region currently is very respectful of farm equipment on the roads and will 700 trucks do the same? Are the roads in any condition to support this volume of traffic and who will be responsible for their upkeep? It is too much to expect that small rural communities should be encumbered with an industry of this size that has the high probability of affecting local farms, local businesses, impact to property values, infrastructure in the surrounding area. It's too much. I say no to having it in Dresden or near any other smaller centres. Find another solution for the need. Resident of Chatham-Kent.
