I do not in any way support myself or any other angler not being able to catch bait from Lake Erie and transporting it over land to fish with it on the Detroit River. Why is this going to harm anything whether the bait contains invasive species or not?
What about all the thousands anglers who live near the shorelines of the Detroit River or Lake Erie and catch their own bait from those areas to fish with it in those same areas and do so by transporting the bait overland? Your going to make that illegal and it will improve nothing your proposal intends to fix.
