To the Minister of Housing:
I am a resident of Vaughan, Weston Downs to be exact. I am strongly against the approval of the four storey apartment buildings on Langstaff and Hwy 400. If an MZO is used to approve this project it will negatively impact our community. I understand the need for more housing but I believe this area is very problematic.
The traffic congestion in this area is at times intolerable. There are so many cars and trucks at any time of the day.
The loss of the small businesses in the area would be a great loss to the community. There is also a wonderful centre for autism at that exact site that would be forced to relocate.
There is no infrastructure in place for such a large population, there are no schools both elementary or high schools.
