Foremost, Langstaff is very congested, in particular during the work week. Adding high density residential developments will lead to horrible traffic gridlock and effect everyone living in this area. Traffic movement needs to be studied. There are no schools or areas (like parks) that one can walk to in that area. The area is a semi light industrial area. How would that effect the new residents and vice versa. And I can't even imagine what will happen to the Highway 400 on-ramp. Langstaff will be backed up for miles. What about water and sewage? If the system is overwhelmed we will all suffer in the surrounding area with failure in those supplies. In the long and short of it, studies for all aspects of building massive apartment buildings needs to occur before even deciding if this is a good idea, in order to make sure its safe and can be maintained, including services for new residents as well as not negatively impacting the current residents. At this point I cannot see how 4 large apartment buildings in that area won't effect new residents and current residents (like me) negatively. Please do not go forward with this without at least doing in-depth studies at a minimum, if not cancelling the whole project.
