Description of instrument

An application has been made by William Day Construction Limited to amend their current site plan for Licence # 15347, to permit extraction within the water table. A Hydrogeological Assessment Level 1 has been prepared to support the application. Licence #15347 has a licenced area of 32.4 hectares and an annual tonnage limit of 250,000 tonnes. If approved, the amendment would change the final rehabilitation to allow for the creation of a pond, lake or wetland. Sloping would continue at the required 3:1 ratio both above and below the water table.
