Niagara Escarpment important recharge area in Melancth water surplus recharges the dolostone Aquifers upgradient of the 455 m asl contour Escarpment slope spring line. The local water surplus is equivalent to 30 to 40% of the dry season base flow at Wasaga Beach.

All of S. ,significant wildlife habitat and corridors, any other significant topographic features, and classes 1-4 farm land. Farm land in S.Ont.

As a rural resident it is vital to keep my water well sources free from any source of contamination.  A proposal currently for cemetery land use.  The zoning is Greenbelt, protected countryside, golf course; however, a by-law zoning change for CE was proposed to the Town which is under

I, like thousands of rural Ontarions rely on our ground sourse water for agriculture,to supply our food and for individual day to day survival. The Greenbelt needs to be saved ,and if anything, expanded , to help offset the concerning changes to our climate.

1. If walking is good for your health, the postman would be immortal.

2. A whale swims all day, only eats fish, drinks water and is fat.

3. A rabbit runs and hops and only lives 15 years.

I want to see the Greenbelt expanded to include the entire Lake Simcoe watershed that hasn't already been legislated for development. It does not make sense to only have a part of the watershed protected while the other areas are not.
