This is a sentiment created for concerned citizens in Rockwood, but it expresses my concerns well. I am happy to pay taxes to support the wonderful life I have in Ontario, but I want our world to be viable for my son and future grandchildren.

Please help us save our green and blue spaces. When we moved her to Rockwood over 21 years a go it was speaking farm fields.  Now all you see is houses.

Water is a fundamental basis for healthy ecosystems and communities.  I urge the Ontario government to provide maximum protection for all surface and underground water features in Southern Ontario.

I support environmental initiatives but I also would like to see the growth of my town and the attraction of businesses. I believe that Halton Hills should be allowed to expand and offer new developments, housing and commercial properties.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the Ontario government’s proposal to expand the existing Greenbelt with a Bluebelt to better protect our province’s water resources. Food and water are the necessities of life.
