I have a 12 year old daughter and am gravely concerned for her future that we start to take action on climate change. Cancelling a program that was already generating millions of dollars that were mandated to be used to reduce our carbon emissions in Ontario is not a positive step. Read more

Given the severity of the issue, and the irrevocable nature of the damage being done, trying to undo even the small advances we have made is appalling. Ford and his party are obviously only interested in the short-term gains, and not in the future.

Regarding bill 4--I think Ontario needs to strengthen policy and legislation to combat the negative impacts of man induced climate change--CO2 emissions, not retract back in time. This is not progressive environmental policy and is sending the wrong message and that we don't understand or care. Read more

I reflect The Ontario government cancelling Bill4 without consulting the next generation of voters or even the current voters! Climate change is clearly here and at the local high school here in Collingwood the students overwhelmingly voted NDP last year over their concern for our planet. Read more

Climate change should not be ignored. The province should do more to encourage energy efficiency in homes and buildings. Making solar panels more affordable would be a good way to save energy and help people save money on electricity. Read more

When I heard that Ontario was planning on cancelling their cap and trade regulations, I was in utter disbelief. The government was finally taking a huge leap forward to help provide a healthy and sustainable future, not just for Canadians, but for the entire world. Read more

As a concerned citizen I am extremely frustrated with the cancellation of the Cap and Trade program and the lack of action on climate change by this government. The recent UN Report outlines how serious the climate change situation is, please take action on this now!
