Please do not cancel Ontario's climate change mitigation plan without a clear and immediate alternative that is even more effective in countering climate change. To cancel this now is both unethical and irresponsible.

It would be better government to offer a well-reasoned and evidenced alternative approach to mitigation before cancelling the current policy regimen. Only then will the taxpaying voter know whether a better policy alternative is being advanced or not.

Elimination of cap and trade in Ontario would leave our province without any sort of legislation to combat the biggest threat facing our society as a whole. I fail to see why this is even a partisan issue.

I demand the Ontario Government to pay attention to IPCC's comments regarding the horrible climatic situation our planet is experiencing. We need to act now, not tomorrow!
Extremely disappointing that Ontario would choose to repeal this legislation. Negative externalities needed to be costed properly, and economic growth cannot be valued higher than the health of our environment and our planet.
