It is always prudent, when making significant changes to any act/program, to first come up with a new plan, vet it through consultation with all involved, and THEN implement it ... rather than destroy the existing plan and then haphazardly pull a new plan out of your hat whenever.

If you don't want to put a price on the production of climate-warming emissions, then please, create a climate change plan that will reduce emissions. Put in place targets in line with the Paris Climate Agreement. Even that target was not enough, but it was a start.

I am very concerned about the apparent lack of consideration for the environment. It is a priority! I want Ontario to end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies and redirect this money to clean energy solutions.
Whether you care about the environment or not, truth is that green energy movement is upon us. We can either go backwards and ignore this trend or we can jump on board and take advantage of the huge economic opportunity for Ontario.
