Water does not need to be bottled and sold for profit. Municipal water is every bit as good as Bottled water. Profit is the only reason to sell bottled water!!! STOP IT!!! Environmental issues are so far more important than commercial profits!!! Read more

Extending the moratorium on water bottling permits is essential to enabling sufficient research to take place so that effective decision making can occur. The increased rates to date are still insufficient to cover the true environmental costs of taking groundwater for commercial consumption.

Safe drinking water is becoming a problem around the world. For millions fresh water is not a human right because water supplies are becoming depleted. Why does Canada think that our water resources are unlimited? In my opinion water should never be for sale to anyone. Read more

I believe the government of Ontario needs to stop selling our water out from under the province. The moratorium should extend forever. Let the people who live in the province access the water not big corporations who don’t even pay what the hard working people of this province pay for water. Read more

The bottlers permits should be reduced and they could contribute to the province, people and country by building water treatment plants to use and process grey water for their requirements instead of using the groundwater which is a public resource Thanks
