Please help us to keep our endangered species alive and growing in strength and numbers. We have lost so much through careless and selfish acts. We know the kind of policies that can make a difference for the future. Please help to make this happen.

The major factors that put Canadian animal species at risk include the conversion of forest and grassland to urban and agricultural uses, commercial timber harvesting, hunting, fishing and the pollution of lakes and rivers (see Water Pollution). I am concerned about the current government and it's lack of concern for species at risk in Ontario. Instead of investing and protecting species, they seem to believe that species at risk are putting our business options second. Read more

I am greatly concerned the government may be making it easier for industry and developers to destroy the habitat for species at risk. Any changes to the ESA must support its purpose of protecting and recovering species at risk. Please: Read more

Do not make any changes that will endanger wildlife in Ontario. Do not allow exemptions to species protection rules for corporations and businesses. If anything please strengthen species protection measures in Ontario.

Just another example of the unlimited greed of business and "so-called" progress! When will everyone realize that we, all living creatures, are interconnected and indispensable to our continued richness of being? Please do not continue to allow dispensations to the our Endangered Species Act.

Everything possible should be done to protect Ontario's endangered species. It would be prudent for government to listen to the experts. I will never support a conservative, or any government, that will not do their part to nurture our animal or wildlife population.

We must protect the Ontario Endangered Species Act, which means a prioritization on conserving species at risk and the habitats they depend on through improved implementation of the Endangered Species Act in its current form. Read more

I am opposed to any reduction in protection for threatened species, or moves that will add species to the threatened or endangered lists. As a person in my sixties and a lifelong Ontario resident, I have seen a continuous erosion of habitat and species. Read more

Please protect the few endangered that we have left. Wooded areas are few and far between for animals to live and people to enjoy nature. There is plenty of other particles are land which can be developed. Save a small area for those that need it. A
