It is difficult to comment on these proposals as there is no definite plan in placed. The word amend is very broad and gives too much leeway to cutting protections already in place. Unfortunately, I have no trust in the current Premier to do what is "right" and "good" for the people of Ontario.

To Whom It May Concern: Please remove Schedule 10 from Bill 66, which allows municipalities to override provisions in the Greenbelt Act, Clean Water Act, Lake Simcoe Act, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act and Great Lakes Protection Act. Our Greenbelt is vital! Please protect it. Thank you.

Harming the land and owners that provide food is ridiculous. Changes can be made to outdated laws, without destroying the land and livelihood of farmers. We are losing green space and safe growing lands at an astounding rate. Change the way you are looking at outdated laws. Read more

I think anything that we do that harms the nature and environment is like cutting a branch we are sitting on. Bill 66 will have a bad effect on us and on the future generations. Therefore I would not like the bill to be passed. Thank you

Ontario has a rich history of occupation that dates back more than 12,000 years. The archaeological assessments completed each year in advance of development help fill in the gaps in the story of our Province, Indigenous Peoples and more recent settlers.
