Please delete schedule 10 from Bill 66. I want the Greenbelt to continue to be protected as a critical and environmentally sensitive area for our watershed and as a result, much of the environment around it.

The green belt must be protected. The wildlife that live there are important and must have a place to reside. We don't need more pollution entirely the opposite and we need the farmland not housing in the greenbelt
As a concerned tax paying citizen of this province I strongly recommend that you Remove Schedule 10 from Bill 66, which allows municipalities to override provisions in the Greenbelt Act, Clean Water Act, Lake Simcoe Act, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act and Great Lakes Protection Act.

Please do not change the Green Belt and laws surrounding it. The current Green Belt makes southern Ontario stronger and healthier by protecting at-risk species, providing space for recreational activities, and preserving our biodiversity.
I'm a physician in York Region , with farming roots on the Oak Ridges Moraine going back to the early 1800's .
My forebears would be amazed at the changes , many of them good. But clean air, clean water, and fresh local food are more important now than ever .

I am against this bill because it gives businesses the ability to flout essential environmental protections that we, as a larger society, have agreed are important.

Please leave the greenbelt alone. We need as much of a buffer as possible. If you are worried about housing more people, build more multi unit buildings -- go up, not out. The "urban sprawl" in this area is not healthy, too expensive for most "ordinary folks", causing more concrete and less trees.
I believe that Schedule 10 should be removed from Bill 66. I do not believe municipalities should be able to override provisions in the Greenbelt Act, Clean Water Act, Lake Simcoe Act, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act and Great Lakes Protection Act.

The Green belt should remain 100% protected. Doug Ford keep your business buddies from having anything to do with it. It is disgraceful and short sighted.
Save the Green Belt! Do not displace the few safe places for our endangered wild life. Do not give in to corporate greed. Stop contributing to global warming, PLEASE.
THANK YOU
I don’t want the Greenbelt - home to 5,500 farms, 78 species at risk and 102 million tonnes of carbon storage - carved up with factories and subdivisions.

More generally, CELA finds that the unjustifiable content of Bill 66, and the erroneous “red tape” language used by the government to describe the Bill’s legislative intent, is highly reminiscent of the dangerous deregulation agenda that was carried out by the Ontario government prior to the Walkert

The very notion of disrupting a very sensitive Eco system for development is not only short sighted for the future of our children but it also suggests that Mr. Ford quite ignorant toward anything but making money. The big question is who will pay the price?
