I'm very concerned about Ontario's Green Belt being opened up for development. It is a unique & important ecosystem that doesn't have to be destroyed as a way to show that "Ontario is open for business". Once it's gone, it's gone. Read more

A lot of the items make sense. However do not change even a comma on the sensitive Oakridge Moraine and other protected lands in our province. We are a huge country and need to protect more space for recreation, pure air etc. Please do not pave us over!!!!

I fundamentally disagree with allowing municipalities to override provisions in the Greenbelt Act, Clean Water Act, Lake Simcoe Act, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act, and Great Lakes Protection Act. I request that you remove these portions from Bill 66.

It's a sad day when a government puts businesses ahead of scarce and precious farmland, clean drinking water, clean lakes, and a healthy environment. In the long term, farmland and water might be found of more value than strip malls with fast food chains and nail salons. Read more

This is absolutely shameful. The promise and election pledge was to keep the Greenbelt the way it is. This is an abomination of the use of power for monetary gain. Backroom dealings have no place in Ontario politics when you're selling out our food producing lands for profit. SHAMEFUL
