Having developers pay to ignore aspects of environmental and species protection is a way to destroy any real protection of the environment. Once a species is gone, it can't be brought back for any amount of money. Once the landscape is altered, it alters the ecosystem with it. Read more

Last week Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Steve Clark, introduced omnibus Bill 108, the More Homes, More Choice Act. This Bill affects 13 pieces of legislation including the Conservation Authorities Act, the Planning Act and the Endangered Species Act. Read more

The minister does not need to have more oversight and power. They are appointed by the premier who has shown no support for environmental change or protection. Only change and protection of industry and sprawl. Read more
