I am in the process of reading the documents provided on line, however, unless it is buried further in, I see little to no reference in the strategy for planting and renewing our forests?
We cannot have a plan to harvest without a corresponding plan to plant and regrow what we harvest.
Congratulations on producing this report, it gets to the heart of many of the challenges that have faced the forest industry. There are several aspects of the report I would like to address.

I understand what the government is trying to do here, but we can't always put profits and jobs before environment. There has to be a balance. Permanently exempting the forestry industry from the Endangered Species Act is blasphemous. Especially if you propose to double the area logged.
