I understand what the government is trying to do here, but we can't always put profits and jobs before environment. There has to be a balance. Permanently exempting the forestry industry from the Endangered Species Act is blasphemous. Especially if you propose to double the area logged. I say no to doubling the area logged. And I say absolutely no way to exempting any industry from the Endangered Species Act, including the forestry industry! Thank you.
