I do not support a black bear hunt. It is unconscionable to shoot bears coming out of hibernation, leaving their young cubs behind to die. Please do not cave to the pressure from hunters to bring back this barbaric hunt. It is a step backwards.

No! No! No! Leave bears alone! Mother Nature does an excellent job of keeping populations in check without the interference of human beings. Hunting is barbaric and inhumane - bears value their lives just as much as humans do and want to live just as much as humans do. Read more

I just cannot imagine why anyone, would want to harm any animal . Unless they are demon possessed. This is not something that I support. Hunting bears is an abomination and should be permanently banned. BC has increased Tourism through guided Tours to see and photograph these animals. Bear baiting and killing should be a thing of the past.

I pay taxes in this beautiful province to protect bears and other wildlife and would gladly pay more if I were confident my dollars would go directly to preserving safety for all wildlife (except porcupines, which destroy trees). Read more
