We need to stop the bear hunt. These animals are far more important than hunters that seem to get joy from killing animals. We also have far better things to attract tourists to our province.

Just leave the bears alone; they are part of the many eco-systems within your region. We have no lawful right to capture, torture or kill these bears or any wild-life.
PLEASE do not allow bear hunting! This is cruel and unnecessary. This gives all the orphaned cubs an automatic death sentence as well. Let these creatures live as they have for millenia. There is absolutely no excuse for killing healthy living beings that roam this earth, especially for sport!!

WHY? Why are we killing black bears for sport in Ontario in 2020? In 1974 I witnessed hunters shoot a black mother bear and leave her half in the river to rot, with three cubs CRYING FOR DAYS! They had used the “tags”and hunted their “quota” and were killing for fun.
