Why consultation isn't required
On April 1, 2020, the Ontario Government made a temporary regulation to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. Ontario Regulation 115/20 exempts all proposals for policies, acts, regulations and instruments from posting requirements under the EBR until 30 days after the declared emergency is terminated.
Proposal details
This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) No. 9235-AD6R6Q for Candor Industries Inc., a facility that manufactures printed circuit boards located in the City of Toronto, Ontario.
The sources at the facility include emissions from electroplating, acid washing, laminating, soldering, curing and coating. This application is for the addition of a new 360 kW natural gas generator to provide prime power generation to the facility.
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include nitrogen oxides and noise.
